Each year, vonM studio takes on a small number of commissions. We work closely with you to turn your ideas into a finished piece, making sure the materials, size, and finish are just right.
1. Private Acquisition & Custom Specifications
If you are looking for a unique piece for your space, we can work together to make it happen. We keep our signature style, but adjust the size and colors to fit your needs. We start by talking through your space, the lighting, and what you have in mind. Then we share ideas, material samples, and mockups that match your plans. Each commission is made just for you. Most projects take between 4 and 8 weeks, depending on the size and how long the materials need to set. Pricing depends on the dimensions, materials, and complexity, with most pieces starting at $12,500.
2. Architectural & Corporate Installations
For larger projects such as hotel lobbies or corporate spaces, we focus on making work that is both distinctive and durable. Our pieces are designed to handle high-traffic areas. We offer installation support to make sure everything fits as it should. We can either work with your installation team or take care of the on-site installation ourselves, depending on what works best for you. We also offer site visits, virtual walkthroughs, and mockups for your review. The aim is to create something that fits your space and leaves a lasting impression.
If you are interested in a commission, we can start by talking through what you need. In our first meeting, we will go over the size, finish, and how the piece will fit into your space. We will also discuss timelines, budget, and your goals for the project. It helps to have some photos of your space and any inspiration you want to share.
