Suspended Moment IV is part of the Oceanic Systems Series. In this piece, I use geometric shapes to reflect the steady rhythm of the ocean. The horizontal layers show how light repeats at the horizon. I made it on a structural aluminum panel with crystal pigments, then sealed it with a glossy automotive clearcoat. This finish protects the work from UV light and helps it last, holding a quiet moment in place.

In a city of concrete and routine, this work studies the moment light and dreams override geometric constraint. Inspired by the murals of Mexico, the prismatic color field fractures the visible spectrum against a rigid urban structure. As suggested by its title, Prism Break captures a moment of intense movement and turns it into a structured form. The work examines how geometric patterns persist even in unstable conditions, much like how a prism breaks light into its components and introduces energy into a static beam. The layered surface records this motion, creating a textured area that reveals the rhythm and depth within the system.
